Sarah Press provides individual and family therapy for teens, young adults, and adults, with a focus on culturally congruent, family-centered care. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, navigating stressful life changes, coping with serious illness, and grief counseling. Sarah is dedicated to helping clients build resilience and emotional well-being through a supportive and compassionate therapeutic approach.
Her therapeutic style is integrative, as she draws from a range of evidence-based practices and modalities to create a tailored, personalized treatment plan for each individual. Sarah believes that every client’s needs are unique and adapts her approach accordingly to ensure a productive therapeutic relationship. She incorporates approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and foster personal growth.
Sarah’s goal is to build a warm, supportive, and productive therapeutic environment where clients feel understood and empowered to make positive changes. She understands the challenges of overcoming anxiety, depression, and the emotional toll of life changes and grief. Her approach aims to help clients gain clarity, achieve emotional healing, and build stronger relationships with themselves and others.
In her personal time, Sarah enjoys reading and cooking, especially sharing meals with her family. These activities allow her to stay connected to her values of care, nourishment, and emotional well-being, which she integrates into her work with clients.
Sarah offers both tele-health and in-person therapy, providing flexible options for clients in our Campbell office. Her goal is to make therapy accessible and impactful for everyone she works with.
