Josi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #122755. Josi has been working therapeutically with children and teens for 3 years through the public school system. She is trained in suicide awareness, prevention, and postvention, bullying recognition and response, and is open to learning as much as possible in various other subjects.

Josi works specializes in teen depression and anxiety and is also able to work effectively with a variety of issues including: abuse, low self-esteem, self-injuring behaviors, family problems, grief and loss, and phase of life issues. Josi is passionate in her work with children and teens and is grateful for the opportunity to support them and their families through difficult life stressors.

Josi’s therapeutic style is integrative. She draws heavily from Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She loves working with people to help them realize their potential for growth, healing, and happiness.

In her free time, Josi enjoys reading and art. She loves spending time with her boyfriend and their cat, Purrceus.
