Gwen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker #10937. She is a therapist working with teens and adults who experience depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress, situational stress at work, in school or in their interpersonal relationships. She deals with a variety of other mental health issues. Gwen also supervises therapists working towards licensure at Campbell Teen & Family Therapy, Inc. Her experience includes working on active military duty while deployed in Iraq as a Social Work Officer, providing disaster/crises mental health services through the American Red Cross, and working for many years in Santa Clara County with children and families with identified child abuse and neglect issues. She has also provided services to birth parents and adoptive parents in the independent adoptions process and the agency adoptions process.

Gwen draws from a variety of philosophical orientations and treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation. She believes in developing a positive and supportive therapeutic alliance with her clients so that together, by collaboratively making and working towards their goals, they will find it is possible to learn new skills and find greater satisfaction in life.
