Lucia Olson, LMFT
Lucia Thomas Olson graduated from Santa Clara University with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (an intensive 78-quarter unit Master of Arts program for students seeking to meet California Marriage and Family Therapy licensing requirements). She completed her undergraduate degree in English at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts and has a PhD in English Literature. Lucia has taught and counseled Bay Area community college students. She has worked for Santa Clara County behavioral health, Calaveras County behavioral health and served as a clinical director at Cielo House, an eating disorders treatment clinic in San Jose. She has training in DBT and RO-DBT therapy modalities, and has trained with the Affirmative Couch in working with LGBTQ adolescents and adults.
